The Jack Petchey Foundation Achievement Award Scheme was formed in 1999 and since then over £25m has been given to youth programmes.
NLPAC students began benefiting from the scheme in 2005, with one young person being nominated for the award by fellow class mates. The winner is then awarded a certificate of recognition and a small sum of money to be spent how they wish within the Centre.
The award scheme enables youth organisations such as NLPAC to recognise the effort, endevour and achievement of young people in a practical and positive way.
